The new Traxxas 4-Tec 3.0 puts supercar performance in your hands with a new long-wheelbase, wide-track design. The faceted, Corvette Stingray body and its massive side intakes are duplicated to the millimeter. The simulated LT2 V8 is visible beneath the rear hatch. Authentic black-chrome wheels fill the fenders. Beautiful to display—with Traxxas performance that demands you to drive.
Every detail of the Stingray is faithfully captured. Beneath the rear “glass,” the engine bay shows off a realistic recreation of the 16-valve V8. Replica wheels shine in stealthy black chrome, and wide tires fill out the rear fender wheels to match the full-size machine’s muscular stance.
The new 4-Tec® 3.0 chassis features a longer wheelbase and wider track developed specifically for the Corvette Stingray. In addition to ensuring accurate proportions, the longer, wider footprint improves stability and refines handling to deliver the steering precision and balanced feel of the mid-engine ‘Vette.
The Stingray’s meticulously detailed shape is unmarred by out-of-scale posts or clips. Instead, an integrated quick-release system secures the body invisibly. The hidden mechanism delivers a secure hold, and releases in seconds to provide chassis access.
The Traxxas 4-Tec 3.0 AWD Chassis is the perfect complement to the Corvette Stingray. Insightful design touches and precision engineering, combined with a low-CG, mid-motor configuration and fully adjustable suspension, make the Traxxas Stingray as exciting and capable as the real thing.
With 68 years of design history behind the new Corvette, it was important to capture every angle and line precisely. Traxxas meticulously recreates the new Stingray body with stunning accuracy. From injection-molded inserts to the LED-ready lenses, Traxxas sets a new standard for scale RC detail.
The Stingray’s sculpted body incorporates mounts into the internal frame. There are no unsightly body posts to ruin the flow, just the sleek lines of the striking mid-engine Corvette. When it’s time to change the battery, just reach under the model to release the secure front and rear latches and the entire body releases in seconds.
The Corvette’s larger 4-Tec 3.0 tires and detailed black-chrome replica wheels provide increased stability and improved handling. The replica brake discs incorporate standard 12 mm wheel hexes and feature red brake calipers. The brake calipers even switch from leading to trailing orientation to give your ride that fully authentic look.
4-Tec 3.0 rides on oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilizing X-ring technology for a perfect seal and silky-smooth performance. They are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons. Features include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and spring clips to precisely change the ride height and spring pre-load. Redesigned shock caps feature hollow balls for better articulation and durability.
The 4-Tec features a high angle steering option with separate mounting holes in the linkages. With minor modifications, high angle steering allows your Corvette Stingray to rotate further for epic drifting around corners. The high tech suspension also features bosses molded into the arms to adjust droop. Suspension droop is the amount of downward travel on the wheels. Droop adjustment allows the 4-Tec 3.0 to be tuned for better stability in the corners.
Conventional servo savers earned a reputation for sloppy steering in on-road cars. The 4-Tec 3.0 incorporates the servo saver into the horn for precise and responsive handling in all situations. An integrated collar allows the spring tension to be adjusted for personalized settings or track conditions.
Real world driving requires dealing with the elements. The 4-Tec 3.0 comes fully protected with a patented waterproof receiver box. The innovative receiver box keeps the micro receiver dry, even in the worst weather.
A high-performance car needs a powerful steering servo for responsive performance, and Traxxas delivers with the 2075 high-torque servo. This waterproof steering servo uses O-ring seals to keep the fun going when things get wet. Waterproof for all-weather action, the 2075 provides 125 oz-in of steering muscle.
A simple wire clip would look out of place with this futuristic high tech chassis. Traxxas engineers designed a trick molded wire retainer to keep wiring secured safely out of the way.
